Meet Nishant Kaul, a Legal and Compliance professional with more than ten years of experience in Startup Ecosystem responsible for reviewing various Agreements, Corporate Compliances, fundraising. Currently he is associated with magicpin as the Chief Compliance Officer, where he is fully responsible for identifying and streamlining secretarial and legal compliance by demonstrating technical knowledge, communication, and relationship management skills. Apart from holding a law degree, Nishant is also a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries in India.
Nishant started his career as a Social Entrepreneur where he developed Content for various Ed-tech startups. In 2014, he joined Amtek Auto Limited as the Deputy Manager, responsible for ensuring compliance with Secretarial Standards, Financial Obligations, and Legal Practices while maintaining a high standard of corporate governance.
Later in March 2017, Nishant joined Viridian Accelerator Center as its Senior Compliance Manager, where he was responsible for managing the legal strategy of almost 200+ startups that were onboarded with the Accelerator. Then in 2020, he joined Eco Rent a Car as a Head of Legal Compliance, where he managed the development of the company’s legal strategy, corporate governance services, and Secretarial duties.

In 2018, he received a Certification of Appreciation for successfully implementing effective legal and corporate strategy. He also received Executive Excellence Award- Wise Arbiter-7th Annual 2020 Customer Sales and Service World Awards, and Certificate of Stellar Award in 2021 for being the most Synergetic, Innovative, and Outstanding function head. He was also awarded Local Retail Platform CCO of the Year (Asia) by CEO Monthly for the C-Suite Awards 2022 and MVP Award in recognition of outstanding performance during the $60 million fund-raising activity for magicpin.
