New Delhi, January 05, 2026 – Tarun Art Gallery presents “Linear Conversations: Between Line and Form,” a compelling group exhibition that brings together diverse expressions from the contemporary Indian art scene. The exhibition examines the dialogue between line and form as both visual elements and conceptual tools, highlighting how artists use structure, abstraction, and rhythm to articulate personal and collective narratives. The exhibition is currently on view until January 15, 2026, between 11:00 am and 7:00 pm at M-7, M Block Market, G.K. II, New Delhi.
Featuring works by Anup Kumar Chand, Bikash Poddar, Tapan Dash, Goldminson Aimol, Harshh Kumar, and Ishu, the exhibition showcases a range of styles and mediums, each offering a distinct interpretation of linearity. While rooted in individual practices, the artworks collectively explore movement, space, and form, creating a shared visual conversation that invites reflection and engagement.
Speaking about the exhibition, Tarun Sharma, Director, Tarun Art Gallery, said, “‘Linear Conversations’ emerges from a simple yet profound idea, that the line is not merely a formal element, but the beginning of thought, emotion, and expression. Each artist in this exhibition approaches line and form differently, shaped by their experiences, materials, and inner worlds. Together, these works create a dialogue that moves beyond individual styles and enters a shared space of inquiry. As a gallery, our intent is to create platforms that allow such conversations to unfold naturally, encouraging viewers to slow down, observe closely, and engage with contemporary art in a more intuitive and meaningful way.”
The exhibition preview was held on December 18, 2025, and was inaugurated in the esteemed presence of Prayag Shukla, eminent poet, art critic, and writer, and Vinod Bhardwaj, eminent art and film critic, writer, and filmmaker, whose insights added depth to the artistic discourse surrounding the show.
