Que: Kindly share your point of view on the current scenario, major challenges, and opportunities as you faced?

Ans: The current digital marketing industry is highly dynamic. With the shift from traditional marketing on Television & Newspaper to Facebook & Google Ads in the last 10 years, there are challenges in understanding the new platforms and their regulations as well as opportunities with each new update on Ad tools and software’s. Being aware and constantly up-to-date with trends and tools is key to keep digital marketing strategies fresh and relevant. Online data comes as an opportunity for marketers to understand their audience better, evaluate how their ads are performing and further optimize resources to achieve highly cost-effective results. At Soctail, All our campaigns are designed, drawing on the insights of previous campaigns and case studies, which allow us a unique standpoint in comparison to other agencies.

VARMAN AVIATION PRIVATE LIMITED was established during 1994 as suppliers and distributors of aircraft spares duly approved by Director General of Civil Aviation, Government of India, by M.M.Varman after retirement from HAL in Senior management position.

VARMAN AVIATION is a registered supplier to our Defence Forces, State Government Department, Civil Aviation Department and Corporate Houses owing Aircrafts, Flying Clubs as well as DRDO, besides exporters to the neighbouring countries.

Under expansion program, during the year 1999 company had purchased 1 acre of land at Export Promotional Industrial Park, Whitefield, Bangalore from Karnataka Industrial Development Board. During the year 2000 – 01 company had set up Aircraft Piston Engine overhauling facility on half acre of land.

The overhauling infrastructure is considered unique in whole of Asia, as the facility established for testing of the engine is through dynamo meter instead of conventional method of testing through test clubs.     By adopting this, we are able to measure power over the entire RPM regime and the test bed is equipped with sensor to measure the other parameters like cylinder head temperature, exhaust gas temperature, lubrication oil pressure and temperature. This facility is equipped with imported Test Rigs, for all accessories, NDT, cleaning and painting. So far the Company has overhauled around 350 Piston engines for various Flying Clubs in the country including Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Udan Academy, in U.P.

Under further expansion programme, the Company had set up additional infrastructure on the remaining half acre of land for overhauling of Pratt & Whitney PT6A series engines during the year 2008 – 09. This facility is considered one of the best in the world. The Test Bed has been correlated and accepted by Pratt & Whitney of Canada and is a fully computerized facility equipped with Schenck Dynamo meter, Allen Bradley Data Acquisition System as well as ACES Vibration Analyzer. The facility includes Schenck Dynamic Balancing Machine, Revitting and De-revitting Machine, Chemical and Mechanical cleaning, painting, fully air conditioned Assembly, NDT etc.

We undertake repair / overhauling of all models of Lycoming, Continental and Rotax Engines. We are also distributors and after sales service center, including maintenance and overhauling provider for Rotax Engine of BRP Rotax GmbH & Co KG, Austria, for India and neighbouring countries, since 2011.

Pratt & Whitney Turbo Prop PT6A series engine overhauling facility has approval of DGCA, India, Nepal, Philippines, Indonesia.

During 2011 the company had acquired distributorship including after sales service and MRO facility for Rotax engines manufactured by BRP Rotax GmbH & Co.KG and have been meeting their requirement of Military as well as civil customers in India.

During the year 2017,  the company has also acquired distributorship including MRO, services on Lycoming engines for India, although, since 2001 company had been overhauling of piston engines including Lycoming and Continental engines and have so far overhauled over 350 engines for various customers as indicated above

The VARMAN AVIATION is professionally managed by high technocrats and professionals retired from HAL, in senior management position.   The company has celebrated Silver Jubilee last month in July 2019.
