Journey Since Inception
In the last 6 years, they established themselves as a leading player that is capable of doing end to end sales outsourcing operations, right from strategizing to recruiting people to training them to deploying them, taking reports from them on a daily basis and ensuring that the target is met and payment is collected for the client. In the last 6 years, they have worked with more than 200 odd brands from start-ups to multinationals and have sold anything from a Viagra to a Helicopter. From app onboarding to set up distribution networks, they have refined their sales processes with multiple companies that they have worked, as everybody’s offering is different and so do their requirement from sales.

Dr Praveen Kumar, The Insightful Leader
AOB India is headed by Dr. Praveen Kumar who has got 15 years of experience in hardcore sales and in varied industries like agricultural products, FMCG, and Technology and has worked with companies like Procter & Gamble, GSK, DuPont, etc. He started this company with a vision by identifying that there is a gap between a company’s sales team and branding agency. He could sense that going forward to finding a sales team is going to be challenging for Start-ups as well as for Multinationals for different reasons.
“It will not be easy to find hardcore sales guys and also, we are not yet matured enough as an economy or market where everything can be driven digitally or online. Therefore, we still need somebody to go to the market and that is our sales guy. Hence we need a smart sales executive who can execute our plan in the right manner as we plan. So the idea of setting up this whole company, AOB India, as a sales outsourcing company was to allow people to focus on their core areas and leave the sales on experts like us who have got tons of experience in this field”, Dr Prveen shared while talking about the idea behind the brand.

“Xanthippeindia has been recognized by multiple bodies and have received multiple awards. If I have to talk about what we have achieved so far, we will be more than happy to put our sales number. In the financial sector, we are talking about 5 Paisa for whom we have opened more than a million-plus account. For Paytm Mall, we have onboarded up to 35,000 vendors. In the distribution network, we have worked with a 50-year-old company like PM Cona for whom we have done Rs. 350 crore worth of sales. Dabur is another client for which we have done more than 1600 plus retail store activations. There are many more clients we have worked for and achieved good numbers. So, our achievement would be what we have achieved for our clients and this is something that should come in the front. Also, the firm has been recognized as the fastest-growing company in small and medium scale organizations by ICICI Bank”, Dr. Praveen proudly shared.
Challenges & Opportunities
Sale is something that drives a company’s fortune. If you have a good sales team, invariably no matter what the market situations are, you will find a way to succeed. The major challenge today is finding a sales team and that is where Dr. Praveen feels that a dedicated sales organization should be there who is well equipped to handle the sales. The kind of start-ups who are penetrating into the market is a huge opportunity for him. So, when he talks about sales, then the sky is the limit.
Hurdles on the Way
“The major challenge we faced was the entire concept. When we say sales outsourcing, people were little skeptical that how we are going to handle their sales or recruit the kind of talent they are looking for. So the major challenge was to convince the customer that we will be able to handle their sales or how this will entirely integrate with their manufacturing pipeline or service deliverables, etc. But today the whole concept has evolved and the acceptability is more”, shared Dr. Praveen.

Future Roadmap
AOB India is planning to take Indian companies abroad by having a similar kind of operation there.
